Dear Father,
Your loving son,
X. Y. Z.
Recently, I have received a letter from you. In this letter, you have asked me to tell you about my first impression of college. Father, it is really a wonderful life of freedom and learning. The professors are very kind and generous. They guide us in every matter. They treat us politely and kindly. In school, we ever remained afraid of our teachers. We could not even discuss our problems with them. We were always reluctant to face them. But now in college, we have gained confidence to a considerable extent. The professors always encourage us to ask questions.
The second thing that attracts me is the free discussion among the students. We debate about the topics of studies, political issues and current international affairs. Sometimes, even the professors join us in the discussion. They guide us properly in every matter.
The most attractive thing of the college is its library. Books of many kinds are available there. The students, during their free periods, come into the library and read books and newspapers. The grassy playgrounds of the college are also wonderful. All sorts of games are played in the college. Father, the truth is that I am enjoying college life. I think it is really a golden period of my life. Please pay my humble greetings to mother and other members of our family.
Your loving son,
X. Y. Z.
