Context:
Ecclesiastes is a book of the Bible. It says that everything happens in this world according to a carefully planned schedule. Nothing occurs out of place. There is an appropriate time for everything. Nothing can happen before time or after the time. Nobody can interfere the natural cycle moved by the Creator.
Explanation:
There is a Supreme System that runs this universe. Everything happens here according to a stipulated time. Nobody has the power or right to change it. All things and objects are prearranged. Nobody violates the predetermined schedule. Nothing can be achieved before its proper times arrives. Birth and death, beginning and end are predestined. Nobody can come into the world before the fixed time. Man’s effort has no role to play in this respect; he has no control over his arrival and departure. When these two most important events of man’s life are predetermined, then he should not think that he is free to do anything. He should submit himself wholeheartedly before the Almighty.
A time to plant,
And a time to pluck up that which is planted…
A time to break down,
And a time to build up;
